The fastest way to identify your part is to check the gate frame itself. Elite stamping is usually on the inside of the vertical post near the hinge or on the motor mounting plate. If you can’t find a stamp, measure the steel: most Elite residential gates in Beverly Hills use 2-inch or 3-inch square tubing with 11- or 14-gauge wall thickness. The surest route is to take a photo of the damaged area and text it to us. Signs Your Elite Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate sags hard on the latch side. This almost always means the weld at the hinge post has started to tear. The gate itself rarely bends first; the connection gives out before the steel does.
• You can see a crack running from a bolt hole. Bolt holes are stress concentrators, and on Elite gates the opener bracket bolt holes are the usual spot. The crack starts small and grows every time the gate cycles.
• The gate jerks or shudders when it starts moving. That’s a hinge or bracket that’s loose enough to shift under load but hasn’t fully separated yet. It only gets worse, and it’s putting strain on the opener gears.
• You hear a sharp pop or metallic snap when the gate reverses direction. That’s a weld letting go in stages. If you hear it once, you’ll hear it again until it parts completely.
• Rust blooms at a seam or joint. Beverly Hills marine-layer moisture gets into hairline cracks and sits there. Rust staining at a weld joint means water has already penetrated and the steel is oxidizing from the inside of the joint out.
